In a major initiative aimed at reshaping the landscape of esports and educational technology,NoScope Gaming, based in Hyderabad, has announced a groundbreaking partnership with the Government of Kerala. The collaboration, unveiled by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and Sports Minister V Abdurahiman at the International Sports Summit Kerala 2024 (ISSK 2024), marks a pivotal moment for sports and education in the region.
NoScope Gaming presented the KEA (KERALA ESPORTS APEX) project during the summit, outlining plans for the development of esports in Kerala. The ambitious project received a substantial investment of 350 Crores (Rs 3.5 billion) from NoScope Gaming, demonstrating a commitment to fostering growth and innovation in the state.
V Abdurahiman, the Sports Minister, expressed admiration for NoScope Gaming's groundbreaking initiative, stating that the partnership provides an opportunity to nurture esports from its grassroots in response to the increasing popularity of the sport in the state. To kickstart the esports revolution in Kerala, the partners plan to organize over 500 esports awareness camps across the state. The success of ISSK 2024 marked a significant milestone for NoScope Gaming, paving the way for a groundbreaking chapter in the realm of sports.
The NSG Arena, a highlight of ISSK 2024, garnered enthusiastic reactions from delegates, ministers, former Indian cricketers, and sports magnates. Ravi Achanta, CEO of NoScope Gaming, unveiled an ambitious project plan at the summit, aiming to position India prominently on the global map of competitive gaming. The focus is on cultivating esports as a feasible career option for youth through mentorship and positive play.
Over 50 participants engaged in an intense esports showdown on a vast stage, showcasing the immense potential of esports in Kerala. This partnership signifies a commitment not only to the development of esports but also to the integration of cutting-edge educational technology programs in schools across the state.
